Electrical Services
Powering Offshore & Marine Performance
BAXTER Subsea & Marine Engineering provides specialist marine electrical engineering services across a wide range of disciplines, from power generation and power conditioning systems through to critical satellite communications, navigation, and vessel control systems.
Our engineers support all AC and DC electrical systems, ranging from low-voltage 12V/24V control, monitoring, and lighting circuits through to high-voltage (HV) power generation plants, switchboards, distribution systems, and complex vessel integration projects. We also provide installation, commissioning, fault finding, maintenance, and upgrade services for AVIT, GMDSS, ECDIS, satellite communications, and other mission-critical marine systems.
Supporting both planned and reactive operations, we deliver electrical support for new-builds, refits, maintenance programmes, and emergency breakdown response across the global marine and offshore sectors. With internationally deployable engineers and a 24/7 global call-out capability, BAXTER Subsea & Marine Engineering provides dependable technical support our clients can rely on when it matters most.
Power Generation
Power generation is at the heart of every marine and offshore operation, with yachts, ships, and offshore platforms heavily dependent on reliable electrical power for all onboard activities — from drinking water production and distribution through to high-voltage power requirements for propulsion, machinery, navigation, communications, and critical vessel systems.
BAXTER Subsea & Marine Engineering provides the installation, integration, maintenance, and support of all forms of marine power generation and distribution systems, ranging from traditional combustion engine-driven generators and shaft generators utilising vessel propulsion systems, through to advanced hybrid and battery-integrated energy solutions designed to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and support modern environmentally conscious operations.

Power Conditioning
With yachts and vessels increasingly operating worldwide and connecting to shore supplies with varying power quality and frequencies, the demand for reliable power conditioning and frequency conversion has never been greater. Modern marine technology, navigation systems, communications equipment, and onboard automation systems are more sensitive than ever to unstable or contaminated shore power, making clean, stable electrical supply essential for safe and reliable operation.
BAXTER Subsea & Marine Engineering provides the design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of marine frequency converter and power conditioning systems for yachts, commercial vessels, and offshore platforms, ensuring seamless and reliable power integration wherever your operations take place globally.
Our solutions are designed to improve power quality, protect sensitive onboard equipment, and enhance onboard electrical safety through the incorporation of galvanic isolation and advanced power protection technologies.
New Build Fit-Out
We have extensive experience supporting the fit-out of new-build vessels for some of the world’s most established yacht and ship builders.
Our team provides design support, project management, installation, testing, and commissioning services across a wide range of vessel systems, including power generation and distribution, GMDSS, navigation systems, AVIT, communications, and hotel power systems.
We also provide specialist “late fit-out” support, deploying experienced engineers to assist projects that are behind schedule and ensure installations are completed efficiently ahead of commissioning.
In addition, we offer sea-trial and vessel delivery support with onboard engineers available to rapidly diagnose and resolve issues during trials and transit, helping to minimise delays, reduce costs, and ensure successful vessel handover.

Communications Systems
We provide the installation, integration, and support of a wide range of marine communication and navigation systems, including ECDIS, RADAR, satellite communications, AVIT, VHF, AIS, and other mission-critical onboard technologies.
Our team can survey, design, install, and commission communication systems across a variety of maritime platforms, ensuring vessels and offshore assets remain safe, compliant, and connected wherever they operate globally.
With increasing demand for high-speed internet access and onboard connectivity, we specialise in the supply and installation of advanced satellite broadband systems, including STARLINK and other fleet broadband solutions, supporting both commercial and passenger vessel operators with reliable communications at sea.
